Will hemp save the world?

 Over the summer I saw a post on Instagram from my friend who owns a sustainable vintage shop. The post had information about hemp being a sustainable textile. I was already aware of the medical benefits of hemp / cbd but the post sparked an interest in me to learn more about the hemp textile industry. When this project was introduced I immediately began reading articles about hemp as a sustainable source.
Upon my research I have found that Hemp can be used as:

• biodegradable plastic
• paper
• food
• animal feed
• biofuel
• insulation
• and more

The list contains valuable resources that countries have gone to war over and our Earth is simply running out of. For my project I would like to create images envisioning a sustainable future ran by hemp.

potential ideas for my images are:

• Magazine covers ie. hemp fashion, medicine, architecture
• Product Ad
• Gas station supported by hemp
• Hemp online store (clothes, food, etc.)
